AMS Service Maintenance & Support Technician - Edmonton

Job Summary
Execute preventative maintenance, repairs, and certification on AMS service tools, equipment, and assets including cranes, hydraulic accumulators, and generators. Review equipment condition prior to work, coordinate with internal customers and other departments, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed. Assist with field service, project work, single trip services, and hotshot services to locations as required, including change outs for trucks and personnel. Perform cleaning, alignment, calibration, and repair of machines; organize farm-out repairs or outsourcing as needed. Provide support to the AMS Frac Business Development & Service Manager and Field Supervisors while assisting with technician training. On-call and after-hours support is an expectation. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and relevant safety tickets required.
Required Qualifications
- Local Edmonton and area residents
- High School diploma
- At least two years of gate valve and wellhead assembly or service experience
- Previous machine maintenance experience and knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing various electrical, hydraulic accumulators, pneumatic tools, etc.
- Previous field service experience
- Knowledge of ball drop and isolation tools
- Folding or Stiff Boom Truck Crane - 22 tonnes and under ticketed crane, CraneSafe or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Stream-Flo and/or competitors' equipment
- Reading blueprints and drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication (oral and written)
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of ERP software
- First Aid ticket
- H2S ticket
- Fall Arrest ticket
- Aerial Lift ticket
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License at a minimum
- Ability to produce a valid driver's abstract
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot and provide good solutions
- Participation in an alcohol and drug test
- Compliance with Stream-Flo's Alcohol and Drug Policy
