Job Summary
AMS Materials Lead responsible for executing commodity/category strategies worldwide and coordinating procurement activities across engineering and manufacturing to maintain inventories and ensure supply. Role includes monitoring materials flow, resolving shortages and discrepancies, supporting physical inventory counts and onboarding for materials-related processes, and driving continuous improvement in planning and logistics. Requires handling complex problems with independent judgment, leading cross-functional teams, mentoring lower-level contributors, and developing solutions to meet business objectives. Global procurement experience and strong analytical/communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
