AMPL Ed. Specialist & Program Coordinator

Job Summary

Plan and implement the culinary medicine curriculum across partner institutions and platforms. Provide administrative support for AMPL research studies, including budget coordination, subcontract development, and inventory management for participant workbooks. Manage the FIMC Accelerator program by handling participant onboarding, leadership scheduling, and coordinating on-site trainings. Coordinate quarterly coalition meetings, webinar invitations, and legislative staff visits. Collaborate with research, policy, and education teams to streamline processes and implement innovative solutions. Maintain strong relationships with co-workers and external partners while participating in continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Effective customer service, interpersonal and written communication skills, as an individual and a team member
  • Computer proficiency including project management software, such as Monday.com, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.), and Zoom
  • Able to organize work, complete tasks efficiently and independently with attention to detail, meet deadlines for multiple tasks and inquiries
  • Research knowledge with ability to understand and implement procedures/protocols
  • Able to use judgment and solve problems; assess research literature and quality improvement parameters
  • Undergraduate degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Policy, or related field
  • At least one year experience in research/project management, budget management, and/or nutrition education
  • Experience in developing and teaching educational programs related to food and nutrition
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Interest in food and cooking
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Routinely required to stand and walk
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish recommended, but not required
