Job Summary
The role of AML Analyst involves reviewing customer transactions to identify suspicious activity and preparing designated Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). A strong background in AML investigations and regulatory compliance is essential, along with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5+ years’ experience in reviewing customer transactions and information for potentially suspicious activity
- Experience in writing and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
- Knowledge of laws applicable to money laundering and terrorist financing
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Excellent research skills including experience with online search tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong writing, analytical and communications skills
- Strong Attention to detail and follow-up skills
