Job Summary
Execute long-term business relationship development and contract negotiations with Population Health Decision Makers to shape health policies and ensure product access. Profile accounts, create strategic plans, and remove barriers to access by collaborating with local Infield Teams and internal partners like Market Access and Pricing/Contract teams. Penetrate target customers in hospital and clinic classes for the Oncology portfolio, including biosimilars and innovative medicines, while analyzing data to meet national goals. Maintain daily entry of account activity in the Compass system, record competitive intelligence, and ensure compliance with all Amgen policies. Manage formulary access strategies and reimbursement processes for assigned customers within the specified Georgia and Florida territories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 Years professional experience in Account Management, Sales or Marketing
- 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in buy & bill market
- Experience in biosimilar market
- Experience working in a hospital or IDN market
- History of superior sales results
- Strong business acumen
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical reimbursement and 340B
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to understand strategy and strategic thinking
- Experience in delivering and executing contracts
- Up to 50% Travel
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience working in a hospital or IDN market preferred
- Experience in buy & bill market preferably in biosimilar market preferred
