Job Summary

Provide real-time ASL interpretation for camper(s) during daily programming, including hands-on activities, group instruction, and all-camp events. Collaborate with Camp Directors and counselors to anticipate and prepare for interpreting needs. Maintain professional and confidentiality standards consistent with the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. Support an inclusive, welcoming camp culture for all campers. Schedule: Part-time, seasonal June 29 – July 31, 2026; approximately 25 hours/week; onsite at Camp Galileo Fremont, CA. Qualifications: RID certification (CI, CT, NIC, or equivalent); experience interpreting for school-age children or in educational settings preferred; ability to work indoors/outdoors; background checks and state-mandated trainings required. Physical demands include lifting up to 30 lbs; must be 18+ by May 1, 2026. ADA accommodations available upon request.
