Job Summary
American Indian Education (AIE) Liaison to provide academic and cultural support to AIE students in grades PreK-12. Responsibilities include meeting weekly with students for academic and cultural activities, collaborating with families to share opportunities and activities, and coordinating with the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) for meetings and event planning. Travel between district school buildings is required. Successful candidate should understand the AIE program and local cultures, possess knowledge of the school system, and be able to connect with families. Flexibility in scheduling is expected, with weekly student meetings during school hours and monthly AIPAC attendance.
