Job Summary
Greet guests promptly and provide timely seating by maintaining accurate waitlists while maximizing seating capacity. Manage large crowds professionally and resolve challenging service situations diplomatically to ensure a pleasant ambiance through lighting, music, and table placement. Communicate dining room setup, special requests, and birthday information to the restaurant team, while sharing store and restaurant event details with guests. Utilize Zomato reservation and InfoGenesis register systems alongside Microsoft Office to perform job functions. Initiate training opportunities with restaurant staff and assist as needed to provide an outstanding dining experience. This role reports directly to the Café Manager at the AG Retail Flagship Los Angeles location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a restaurant host, hotel concierge, or related customer service position, preferred.
- Computer skills including restaurant reservation and POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and use of basic office equipment (copiers/fax), preferred.
- Experience working with children, preferred.
