Job Summary
American Girl Restaurant Cook supports the in-store dining experience by preparing and delivering high-quality food and beverages. Responsibilities include prepping and consistently producing recipes, maintaining line station setup and adhering to recipe guidelines, performing opening/closing duties, enforcing proper food safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining cleanliness of all areas, and collaborating with team to foster a positive work environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a culinary certification, food safety/sanitation certification, ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays), and physical ability to stand/walk for long periods with heavy lifting (30-50 lbs). Hourly range is $15.00–$18.00, with hiring range dependent on location, skills, and experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification for an accredited or recognized culinary school, college, or comparable institution
- Certified in local food preparation safety and sanitation standards
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift 30-50 lbs
