Job Summary
Seasonal Part-Time Sales Department Clerk at the American Girl NYC retail store. Provide prompt, efficient sales assistance, share product knowledge, upsell, process POS transactions, resolve customer issues, and communicate merchandise needs to management. Responsibilities include engaging customers, answering questions, directing to merchandise, promoting store events and promotions, handling returns as exchanges, and contributing to team and company goals. Prior retail or service sales experience is preferred; basic computer skills and POS experience preferred; experience with children is a plus; must be flexible to work varying schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Sales experience in the specialty retail or service industry, preferred.
- Must possess basic computer skills; some experience using a POS System, preferable.
