Job Summary
Monitor customer traffic and correct safety concerns to maintain a secure environment for guests and employees. Diffuse escalated situations through positive customer service while preventing asset loss via surveillance, package checks, and trash inspections. Act as a safety mentor to store employees by leading by example. This part-time role requires a valid NYS security license, one to two years of loss prevention or security experience, and availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The hourly rate is between $20-21.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS security license
- Must be available to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years of loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military or security experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Software programs
- Demonstrated ability working with a broad and diverse work force and customer base, including working with children
