Job Summary
Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans are clean and sanitary according to health code standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room area by sweeping floors, removing garbage, and mopping/scrubbing/sanitizing all surfaces. Assist with side work assignments including stock rotation, replenishment, food storage, and station set-up and take-down. Works collaboratively with the team to build a positive work environment. This seasonal position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for candidates holding a high school diploma, ServSafe certification, and prior restaurant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform diverse physical tasks, including constant standing and walking, heavy lifting (30-50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Certification for an accredited or recognized culinary school, college, or comparable institution
- ServSafe certification
- Restaurant experience, especially as a dishwasher
