Job Summary
Provide tutoring services in Math and assist students with assigned homework. Develop student Math group activities while representing La Sierra University in the community. Maintain excellent people skills and attention to detail regarding paperwork and prompt arrival/departure to school sites. This rolling student employment opportunity runs from Fall Quarter through Spring Quarter for Federal Work Study eligible students at La Sierra University. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a solid understanding of middle school math topics, and the ability to work individually or within larger groups.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible students must qualify for Federal Work Study
- Eligible students must have reliable transportation
- Must be a registered student at La Sierra University
- A solid understanding of math topics covered up to the middle school level, such as integers, fractions, simple algebra, probability, etc.
- Must be comfortable using technology such as Google Meets

- Creative and enthusiastic when covering lesson plans
