AMCI/YMCI Recovery Coach

Job Summary
Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered care for clients and families; participate in triage, screening, and intake to ensure same-day access to services; complete referrals; facilitate recovery coach services (individual, family, or group); serve as a recovery guide and role model; connect clients with recovery support services; use motivational interviewing to empower clients and families toward improved health and wellness; educate about overdose prevention and Naloxone; coordinate care across health and behavioral health services; maintain required records; participate in supervision and training; support transportation needs; stay knowledgeable about the CBHC model; flexible schedule including evenings and/or weekends; essential staff may work beyond 40 hours and may be required to stay awake during overnight shifts; travel to different settings and attend meetings, events, and trainings; apply culturally and linguistically appropriate services; comply with agency driver policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Certified Recovery Coach or willingness to complete BSAS Recovery Coach Academy or CCAR training within one month of hire
