Job Summary
Conduct telephonic nursing assessments, recognize emergency signs, and prioritize patient care using decision support tools to determine disposition recommendations. Collaborate with providers and departments to deliver care across the continuum while applying the nursing process and critical thinking to synthesize assessment data. Communicate effectively to build professional relationships, solve problems independently, and share information to support patient safety and quality outcomes. Assist leadership in developing program goals and maintaining quality initiatives focused on best practice patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- South Dakota Board of Nursing
