Ambulatory Surgical Technologist - 12-hour Shifts

Assist surgeons with procedures for patients of all ages by practicing aseptic techniques, scrubbing, and setting up instrument tables. Coordinate treatments with other disciplines, identify correct surgical sites, and maintain accurate accounts of supplies and specimens. Prepare rooms between procedures, dispose of linens and sharps appropriately, and assess wounds as instructed. Anticipate intra-operative needs, document medical information, initiate emergency procedures, and restock operating rooms with case supplies. Actively participate in surgical timeouts and assist in training new personnel.
