Job Summary
Ambulatory Services Representative I coordinates all ambulatory patient access functions including front-end customer service, patient registration, insurance/coverage verification, appointment scheduling, charge entry, and other administrative duties in support of the Ambulatory Float Pool. Responsibilities include MPI registration, visit management, cross-booking with interpreters/social services/radiology, pre-authorization/referral coordination, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires excellent English communication, customer-service skills, ability to balance multiple priorities, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with hospital registration and billing systems is preferred. Education: Associate degree or HS/GED with two years relevant experience; compensation range provided and benefits offered.
