Job Summary
Ambulatory Services Representative I coordinates front-end patient access activities including reception, MPI registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, co-payment collection, and pre-authorization/referral coordination. Performs a range of administrative duties to support the ambulatory department such as handling forms, phones, filing, and reporting, with emphasis on customer service, confidentiality of health information, and multi-tasking across registration, scheduling, and billing systems. Requires strong English communication, basic Microsoft Office skills, and experience in a clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (or equivalent) or HS/GED plus at least two years relevant experience
