Job Summary
Ambulatory Services Nurse II provides nursing care across preoperative and postoperative phases, including assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation. Develops and coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care accommodating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors; fosters collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication; adheres to policies and laws to promote a high-quality patient experience; engages in ongoing professional growth and development. Responsibilities encompass knowledge of nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and familiarity with safety, privacy (PHI), and regulatory requirements, including familiarity with EHR systems. Typical experience includes 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience. Education requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; licensure as an RN in California; certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- 2 years recent relevant experience
