Job Summary
Greet visitors and patients for scheduled and urgent care appointments, then verify demographic and insurance information while collecting co-payments and obtaining consent signatures. Assess patient needs for financial counseling, interpreter services, and social referrals; direct phone calls to providers or take messages as needed. Schedule urgent care appointments and coordinate treatment by multiple providers, arranging tests and procedures according to established guidelines. Collaborate with insurers to obtain prior authorizations and ensure eligibility for procedures, while reviewing billing discrepancy reports for resolution. Maintain accurate records, logs, and charges; submit Patient Encounter information electronically and prepare special reports for clinicians. Comply with departmental policies, attend meetings, and demonstrate Quality Improvement in daily operations.
Required Qualifications

- 3 years of related experience
