Job Summary

Supervise day-to-day operations of MLK-LA Healthcare Corporation outpatient clinics and ambulatory services, ensuring staff deliver high-quality, cost-effective care compliant with federal, state, and local standards. Implement clinical practice and quality management standards while managing budgets, resource allocations, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with physicians and departments to resolve patient care issues, develop policies, and improve systems across the continuum of care. Select, hire, train, and evaluate non-provider staff, organize regular meetings, and serve as a liaison between the site and external agencies. Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English; requires current California RN license, 2+ years supervisory experience, and ACLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in nursing
  • Current California RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support for Providers, by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS), by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Nurse with at least 2yrs of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, home care, nursing home setting or health facility within the last 5yrs
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a health care setting
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, electronic medical records and ability to learn new applications easily
  • Demonstrates ability to supervise and direct administrative personnel
  • Must be able to relate well to patients, clinicians, employees, and other professionals
  • Must be able to handle confidential issues with discretion
  • Must be able to understand the goals of the practice and work to obtain these goals independently as well as in collaboration with clinician partners
  • Must have working knowledge of managed care and other current health insurance arrangements

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification requiring formal education
