Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician II, Outpatient Pharmacy

Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician II supports the outpatient pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation and distribution, serving as liaison between the department, staff, physicians, and patients, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. Duties include performing pharmaceutical procedures, adhering to local/state/federal regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, DEA, FDA, USP), and possibly orienting other staff. Requires knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and proficiency with computer systems (EHR, EPIC) and Microsoft Office; strong time management, communication, and professional judgment in a pharmacy setting. Shift is Days, Per Diem/Casual with rotating weekends as needed; per diem compensation ranges from $30.00–$37.49/hour depending on location and experience.
