Ambulatory Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee staff, residents, interns, and students through recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews while staffing service areas to maintain clinical expertise. Develop programs, initiatives, policies, and treatment guidelines that align with departmental strategic plans and accreditation standards. Execute process improvements by establishing best practices, monitoring quality metrics, and resolving unsafe conditions or inefficient workflows. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and external agencies to facilitate continuity of care. Manage on-call rotations approximately every sixth week or weekend staffing as needed. Requires a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with three years of experience and Oregon licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with equivalent experience
- 3 years of Pharmacist experience
- Pharmacist Licensure in the State of Oregon (required at start of position)
- Proficiency in an area of clinical pharmacy practice
- Professional communication, written, and verbal
- Contemporary Practice of Pharmacy
- Ability to perform the job duties with or without accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Work history demonstrating involvement in leadership projects
- Publications in peer reviewed journals or presentations at state or national pharmacy conference
- Two years of precepting and lecturing experience or ACPE accredited teaching certificate
- Board Certification or Fellowship in area of clinical pharmacy practice
