Ambulatory Nurse

Ambulatory Nurse position at Dayton Children's - South Campus in Primary Care Cornerstone. Responsibilities include performing treatments, administering medications, assisting procedures without anesthesia with aseptic technique, providing patient/family education, and involving families in care planning. Delegates and evaluates care to assistive personnel per hospital nursing plan; focuses on individualized patient care and safety. Requires RN license in Ohio and education from an accredited nursing program, with a commitment to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Schedule is Monday–Friday days (32 hours weekly) in a full-time nursing staff role reporting to the Supervisor; emphasizes safety, compassion, teamwork, and clinical excellence in pediatric care.
