Job Summary
Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs including central line care; administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products; monitor patient response and obtain vital signs; educate patients and caregivers on therapy and IV care; perform venous phlebotomy; complete clinical documentation; and coordinate schedules with patients, families, and providers. Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards while prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment. This part-time role supports patients in infusion suites and other care settings as needed, requiring local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- IV certification
- 2+ years RN experience
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel locally to support patients
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to seek guidance when appropriate
- Participate annually in required legal and ethical compliance training
- Consistently act in compliance with LUX Infusion's legal, ethical, and compliance policies
- Adhere to all standards and procedures outlined in the LUX Infusion Compliance Manual
