Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinical Triage Nurse in Cardiology provides direct patient care in an outpatient clinic, collaborates with PCPs and specialists to develop and implement care plans, uses critical nursing skills to assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensures following clinical protocols and documentation. The role supports providers with patient management, offers patient education and written instructions, and contributes to care planning and problem solving. It is a safety-sensitive position with a 40-hour day shift and no call, weekends, or holidays. Requires RN license and BLS certification; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with 2-5 years of experience (Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years preferred). Located in Saint Louis, Missouri area within outpatient cardiology services at BJC Medical Group.
