Job Summary
Conduct quality improvement initiatives using database benchmarks and evidence-based nursing interventions. Design, deliver, and evaluate patient and provider education while applying health literacy principles. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in hospital committees to promote safe, efficient care delivery. Mentor colleagues and share clinical expertise within the Radiation Oncology unit. Requires Bachelor's degree in Nursing with two years of RN experience, BLS certification, and a Nurse Compact License secured within 60 days of hire. Part-time PRN schedule at The University of Kansas Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed registered professional nurse
- Clinical expert
- High School Graduate
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- 2 or more years RN experience
- Master Degree Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing
- Nurse Compact License (NCL)
