Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within the ambulatory setting using the nursing process, including preliminary assessments through observation and chart review. Evaluate unstable or complex patient situations to facilitate appropriate interventions and clinical decisions. Respond to incoming treatment-related phone calls and complete necessary forms such as FMLA and physician orders. Educate patients and families on health care needs, evaluate teaching effectiveness, and document responses in patient charts. Requires a current active multi-state RN license, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and 6+ months of RN experience. Schedule is 4x10s Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 17:30.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- 6 months of RN experience
- 2 or more years RN experience to be an Ambulatory Clinic RN
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing - in state in which you live OR Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing - active with multistate in progress with proof of application
- Must have current active multistate state Register Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state in which you live OR active single state RN license in good standing in the state you will be working with proof of application of a multistate RN license in the state in which you live
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) (Non-Clinical) - American Heart Association (AHA) or obtained within 14 days
