Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinic RN in Sarcoma Surgical Oncology provides direct patient care in an ambulatory setting using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessment of patients, monitoring complex care situations, implementing clinical decisions, educating patients and families, completing forms (e.g., FMLA, DME), and collaborating with the healthcare team. Requires RN licensure (multistate or single-state), BLS, and 6 months of RN experience (2+ years preferred for ambulatory clinic context). Full-time position at The University of Kansas Health System in Overland Park, KS.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- RN license (multistate or single state) in state of residence
- BLS Heartsaver certification or equivalent within 14 days of hire
- 6 months RN experience (Ambulatory Clinic)
- 2+ years RN experience for Ambulatory Clinic RN role
- Current active multistate RN license or proof of license application
- Ability to obtain multistate RN license if required by state
- Good standing with nursing board
