Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinic RN - Infectious Diseases delivers direct nursing care in an ambulatory setting following the nursing process. The RN assesses patient data to determine age-specific needs, performs preliminary assessments, facilitates appropriate interventions for unstable or complex cases, applies independent nursing judgment, educates patients and families, documents care and teaching, and completes required forms (e.g., FMLA, DME, Home Health orders) as delegated. Requires RN license (multistate preferred), BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience; position located in Kansas City, KS in a full-time ambulatory clinic setting with a focus on infectious diseases.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- 6 months RN experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing
- Current active multistate RN license or single-state RN license with proof of multistate license application
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS) - American Heart Association, obtained within 14 days
