Job Summary
Manage patient flow, triage, and direct patient care while acting as a liaison between front desk staff, nursing staff, physicians, and the clinic manager. Develop expected patient outcomes, define resource utilization, and coordinate continuity of care following hospital admission, discharge, and ER visits. Support patient self-management by educating families on medications, diagnostic procedures, and health maintenance, while verifying completed orders and documenting assessments in the EMR. Handle incoming treatment-related phone calls and report patient reactions to treatments to physicians. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years of RN experience, and a current active multistate RN license. Full-time employment with a multistate license renewal deadline of 4/30/2026 for staff hired prior to 2/1/2024.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing
- Must have current active multistate state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state in which you live
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days
- Basic typing and word processing ability
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High School Graduate
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- 2 or more years of RN experience
