Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinic Nurse (RN)-PRN-Infusion role providing professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for ambulatory/infusion patients. Requires coordination of care with patients, families, and health-care team; adherence to organizational policies; and ability to perform nursing competencies on the assigned unit. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, documentation, care planning, and patient education with variety of unit/departments; duties vary by department. Must hold RN licensure (Kansas or Missouri or compact) and BLS; prefer BSN within 5 years; provides care in an ambulatory clinic/infusion setting as a PRN, part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years
- 1 or more years as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing Kansas or Missouri (or compact license)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
