Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinic Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for ambulatory patients; coordinates care delivery and education with patient, family, and healthcare team; follows organizational policies to ensure safe, effective, high-quality care; must perform clinical/technical competencies for the assigned unit and may perform other duties as required. Responsibilities and essential functions include performing patient assessments, accurate documentation, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe patient outcomes. Requires strong nursing skills, adherence to policies, and ability to coordinate care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years
- 1+ years as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - State Board of Nursing (Kansas or Missouri or compact license)
