Job Summary
Ambulatory Clinic Nurse (RN)- Infusion in Kansas City, MO. Provides direct outpatient nursing care in infusion/ambulatory settings using the nursing process, administering IV therapies, managing PICC/central lines and Port-A-Cath care, and educating patients and families on self-management of treatments. Responsibilities include reviewing test results, assessing patient needs by age, coordinating with physicians, maintaining documentation, and supporting clinic workflows for infusion patients. Requires associated nursing competencies, BLS certification, and RN licensure with infusion experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Associate Degree Nursing
- 2+ years RN experience with 1 year in infusion
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current active multistate RN license or proof of application
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Heartsaver/AHA or obtained within 14 days
