Ambulatory Care Nurse - NYU Langone Women's Health - New Hyde Park

Conduct physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and wound care while administering medications, IV therapy, and oxygen therapy. Perform patient triage, collect health histories, and document clinical data in the electronic health record. Monitor patient responses to treatments, interpret test results, and develop patient-centered care plans with licensed providers. Provide health education, counseling, and rehabilitation support to patients and families. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapists and discharge planners, to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Manage clinical in-baskets, report critical lab values, and escalate urgent deviations to medical providers.
