Job Summary
Conduct physical examinations, administer medications including IV therapy and vaccinations, and perform wound care and phlebotomy for ambulatory patients. Collect clinical history, document data in electronic health records, and perform onsite diagnostic testing such as EKGs, spirometry, and fetal monitoring. Provide patient triage, health education, and counseling while monitoring responses to treatments and anesthesia. Coordinate care plans with licensed providers and supervise LPNs, medical assistants, and technicians to support patient flow. Manage clinical in-baskets, report critical lab values, and escalate urgent deviations to medical providers.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- minimum of two years of experience
