Ambulatory Care Nurse - Cardiology - Garden City

Conduct comprehensive ambulatory care for cardiology patients, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and administering medications such as IV therapy, oxygen, and vaccinations. Perform wound care, catheter management, and minor procedures while assessing and monitoring patient responses to treatments. Collect patient health histories, document clinical data in electronic records, and provide patient education on test results and treatment plans. Manage patient triage via phone and in-person, relay critical lab values to providers, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality improvement initiatives.
