Ambulatory Care Flex Tech

Ambulatory Care Flex Tech assists providers during outpatient exams in the Ambulatory Care Clinic. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, attaching patients to diagnostic equipment (EKG, cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, dynamapp, pneumatic tourniquet), obtaining vital signs, performing diagnostic testing and specimen collection per provider order, and entering data into the EMR. Maintains supplies and equipment, supports scheduling and registration, ensures infection prevention practices, orients new staff with RN oversight, and may assist with procedures, wound care, and patient discharge instructions. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient communication, and patient safety in a fast-paced outpatient setting is required. Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year customer-focused/service experience; associate degree preferred. Salary range: $18.50-$24.98 hourly equivalent to approximately $38,480–$51,958 annually; full-time, in Rochester, NY location.
