Job Summary
Conduct expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure the integrity, integration, and stability of EHR applications for Nordic's complex customers. Fulfill system requests by performing issue analysis, translating needs into detailed requirement specifications, and executing system builds and testing. Anticipate the impact of changes to other applications and manage those impacts through proactive workflow analysis and system audits. Exercise judgment to determine appropriate escalations regarding patient safety, financial integrity, and regulatory compliance while accurately documenting incidents in ticketing systems. Manage multiple complex clients and projects simultaneously, including maintaining awareness of unique customer builds and monitoring open issues. Work on ad hoc projects and assist in internal initiatives as directed, while mentoring team members in technical skills and system processes.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory
- 3+ years of experience implementing, training, or supporting EHR modules
- Proven ability to apply problem solving and technical skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
- Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
- Prior experience with ticketing systems and change management processes
- Strong customer service track record
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
- Previous management and project management experience
- Participation in previous systems implementations
- Demonstrated sound judgment and appropriate escalation
- Ability to take on-call rotations outside of core business hours, including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel up to 10%
