Job Summary
Provide care and support to patients through their journey, whether responding to 111 calls, treating on scene, transporting to a medical facility, or covering local and international sports events, school fairs, or concerts. Complete approximately two 12-hour shifts and one training session per month while adhering to Hato Hone St John Medical Standards for Driving. Maintain a clean police record and hold a full NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or an approved NZTA advanced driving course. Required Qualifications
- A full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months)
- To be 18 years of age or over
- New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status
- A clean police record
- To be able pass Hato Hone St John assessments - physical assessment, health questionnaire, literacy and numeracy assessments and an interview
- To be available for regular duty and training (approximately two 12 hour shifts and one training session per month)
