Job Summary
Ambulance Care Assistant in Cambridge (Full Time, 40 hours/week across 4 days). Responsibilities include driving patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities, and assisting with lifting and transporting patients in and out of the Ambulance. Build rapport with patients and relatives, ensure safe transfer and handover to staff, maintain ambulance safety and cleanliness. No prior ambulance experience required as full training is provided. Qualifications include a valid UK manual driving licence, physical fitness for manual handling, and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check. Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork are essential; the role involves compassionate care and supporting patients across emotional scenarios.
