Ambassador (Weekends)

Role involves constant safety observation of at-risk patients as a Patient Observer/Companion to prevent injury and support the clinical team. Responsibilities include observing patients, documenting behavior, obtaining care information from the RN, adhering to patient conversation guidelines, monitoring safety and patient status, assisting with bathroom/testing as needed, utilizing bed alarms, safeguarding patient belongings and privacy, and reporting patient status to nursing staff. The position emphasizes direct-care activities under supervision, with entry-level qualifications and English-language proficiency; Previous service-industry experience is preferred and adherence to privacy and safety policies is required. The role is in-person and situated in Northampton, MA, with weekend scheduling and hourly pay.
