Job Summary
Greet customers and provide timely, friendly service in elevator lobbies and parking lanes at The Ohio State University campus. Resolve correspondence and problems while building rapport with clients, employees, and visitors. Assist with customer relations and handle challenging situations with a can-do attitude. Perform additional duties as assigned, including small cleaning tasks and special event coverage at venues like OSU Stadium and Schottenstein Center. Work weekends from 8am to 4pm or 2pm to 10pm.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness
- Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 10lbs

Desired Qualifications
- High School degree preferred but not required
- Parking and/or university operations experience preferred
- Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of The Ohio State University campus a plus
- Flexible, willing to work multiple facility locations
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills
