Job Summary
Ambassador role supporting funeral home operations; greets and directs client families and guests, escorts them to services, distributes memorialization materials, and assists with visitation and memorialization events. Demonstrates professional, compassionate service, upholds ethical standards, maintains a neat appearance, and helps prepare public spaces for services. Requires effective communication, empathy for grieving families, ability to handle emotionally charged situations, and willingness to engage in community outreach to grow market presence. Must be able to drive a company vehicle and comply with safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated willingness to participate in growing market share through personal community involvement
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to empathize with client families and their guests and demonstrate tact and patience in emotionally charged situations
- Ability to actively respond to the requests of the client families and their guests
