Job Summary
Ensure an appropriate number of cars are kept on location, parked correctly, and the lot remains clean and presentable. Courteously assist customers by answering questions, control traffic at entrances and exits, and report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the supervisor. Communicate safety issues regarding debris, water, or oil spills directly to management. Maintain knowledge of major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area. Assist the Supervisor or Site Manager with other duties as required. This part-time role offers a supportive work environment with growth opportunities at Parking Concepts, Inc., serving hotels, hospitals, retail centers, and special events across Downtown L.A.
Required Qualifications
- Superb customer service and communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a designated station for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, kneel, crouch, twist push/pull items, devices, etc. during the course of scheduled working hours
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to position or remove barricades in order to close or open parking areas
- Have a good knowledge of the major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the lot
