Job Summary
Amazon Warehouse Worker responsible for receiving and preparing packages for delivery at an Amazon Delivery Station. Responsibilities include building, sorting, wrapping, and transporting pallets and packages; using smartphones/handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders; loading conveyors, transporting shipments, and staging deliveries for pickup by drivers. Requires 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 49 pounds, follow English instructions, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in diverse temperatures and around moving equipment. Multiple shift options available (Full-Time, Reduced-Time, Part-Time, Flex-Time) with potential overtime; on-the-job training provided and opportunities for career growth and tuition support for select employee groups.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
