Job Summary
Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, sorting, and preparing packages for delivery, loading/unloading, and transporting pallets and packages within a fast-paced delivery station. Duties include using smartphones/handheld devices to sort and prep orders, building and wrapping pallets, and ensuring safe operation around moving equipment. Shifts include Early Morning and Overnight, with various schedule options (Full-Time, Reduced-Time, Part-Time, Flex-Time). The role emphasizes safety, use of protective gear, and ongoing training and development.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift options including Early Morning and Overnight
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week)
- Safety and equipment usage guidance
