Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, staging orders, and using carts to transport items to drivers. Scan and sort orders into delivery bags and vans using smartphones and handheld devices. Build, wrap, and transport pallets while receiving truck deliveries of customer packages. Work in climate-controlled environments with temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 90°F, operating around moving equipment and vehicles. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and navigate stairs.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
