Job Summary
Amazon Warehouse Worker at a Delivery Station: receive and prepare packages for delivery, load and transport items, use smartphones/handhelds to sort and ready orders for delivery, build and move pallets and packages, and receive truck deliveries. Roles offer multiple shift options (early morning, overnight) with various weekly hour configurations (full-time, reduced-time, part-time, flex-time) and potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift options including Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week)
