Job Summary
Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate at Rockland, ME: You will be part of the delivery station team handling packages for delivery, loading conveyor belts, sorting and preparing orders, and transporting pallets and packages using carts and equipment. The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, English language comprehension, standing, walking, climbing stairs where applicable, and working in a temperature-variant environment. You’ll receive on-the-job training, have schedule options (full-time or various part-time/flex options), and can access benefits and Anytime Pay. Responsibilities include receiving and preparing packages for delivery, using smartphones and handheld devices to scan and sort orders, building and transporting pallets, receiving truck deliveries, and maintaining safe operations with protective gear.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift options including Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time, Part-Time, Flex-Time
- Ongoing schedule flexibility and potential overtime
